THE SPRINGSTEEN EXPERIENCE offers a variety of show packages to suit all fans, venues, and private and public events. Josh and the cast and crew of THE SPRINGSTEEN EXPERIENCE, take great pride in performing this brilliant catalog of music, and with the utmost sincerity, respect, and gratitude; wish to thank Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band.
THE EXPERIENCE… “He ain’t stoppin’ till they turn on the lights!”
THE EXPERIENCE is a high-octane, chronological journey, recreating the most memorable moments and stage interactions throughout E STREET concert history. From 1973 through the height of Bruce’s Fame in the 80’s and beyond, this theatrical production accurately replicates the near circus-like appeal of an authentic Springsteen concert; including vintage equipment and stage sets, multiple costume changes, and note-perfect renditions of Bruce’s most popular hits and lyrical gems.
With the addition of the four-piece MIAMI HORN section, THE EXPERIENCE is a non-stop adrenaline rush… a theatrical concert event like no other production in the replica-rock genre today. Songs like BORN TO RUN, DETROIT MEDLEY, ADAM RAISED A CAIN, SHERRY DARLING, HUNGRY HEART, GLORY DAYS, BORN IN THE USA, and many more. THE SPRINGSTEEN EXPERIENCE is a show for all ages and with something for everyone; an event to come back for again and again.
THE EARLY YEARS… “Relive the experience!”
1973 to 1979; THE EARLY YEARS is a theatrical re-enactment that speaks to the souls of true Bruce fanatics, and easily creates new ones. Josh Tanner, backed by a notable ensemble of lookalike talent, bears a striking resemblance to Springsteen. His organic similarity in mannerisms and vocal prowess easily transports you back in time with songs like GROWING UP, E STREET SHUFFLE, SPIRIT IN THE NIGHT, and HARD TO BE A SAINT IN THE CITY. Leave reality behind and lose yourself in Bruce’s theatrically romantic lyrics, the poignant voice of the piano, the eloquence and poetic imagery brought to life in KITTY’S BACK, LOST IN THE FLOOD, and the perennial concert epic, ROSALITA. With impeccable costuming and stage sets, THE EARLY YEARS is an authentic reproduction of a vintage-era Bruce Springsteen concert that only relatively few hard-core fans have ever seen… and will never be seen from the man himself again.
HAMMERSMITH ’75 “Relive music history!”
THE SPRINGSTEEN EXPERIENCE performs an authentic and precise reenactment of Bruce and E Street’s European concert debut; November 18th, 1975, at The Hammersmith Odeon, London. From TENTH AVENUE FREEZE-OUT, to BACKSTREETS, and QUARTER TO THREE, this two-and-a-half-hour theatrical reproduction is a masterfully choreographed, artistic replication of a historical concert event. Close your eyes and you’ll swear you hear Bruce; open them and you’ll believe you see a youthful Springsteen performing at a time when he was dubbed “rock’n’roll’s future”. There’s only one Bruce, but even die-hard fans will be convinced they’ve seen another.
BRUCE UNPLUGGED – “An intimate, acoustic, solo performance!”
No one has mastered the impersonation of Bruce Springsteen like Josh, who’s Jersey-grown reincarnation, of Bruce is simply the best. Having honed his skills on stages large and small, from Orange Country, CA, to The Wonder Bar in New Jersey, and even Nagasaki, Japan, playing for our troops; this solo performance is more than just a chance to lose yourself in the illusion, but also a fun and inspiring tribute to one of the greatest performers of our time, and the many songs and stories he has shared. This is a personalized and unique performance, catered individually to the venue, event, or private party.
A Review From – Landon Hall – The Orange County Register “Josh has spent four years honing his own act, called simply Springsteen! He has found his niche – the Boss as he looked and sounded in the mid-1970s, when he was a 26-year-old troubadour with a thick beard and floppy Gatsby cap, changing rock ‘n’roll forever. Josh grew up in Freehold, N.J., and went to the same high school as Springsteen. He lives in Irvine and doesn’t divulge much else about himself. But he talks with great specificity about his craft. His band, which includes a tribute Clarence Clemons and a tribute Little Steven, uses amps identical to the 1959 Fender Bassman models used by Springsteen and his E Street Band from “Born to Run” through “Darkness on the Edge of Town.” Tanner, a drummer by trade, learned how to play the guitar and built a replica of Springsteen’s wooden “Franken guitar” – a Fender Telecaster body with an Esquire-brand neck. “I studied it like an acting job,” Josh says…”
